First and foremost we want to apologize to those of you who expected to see pictures tonight on our site. This unfortunate sequence of events, the corruption of the SD Card in my camera, prevented me from viewing, editing, or even saving the pictures from tonights press conference. For that, I apologize, even I lost some valuable photos of friends from a sorry piece of equipment. Sadly the photo of former WWE Developmental Promoter Randy Hales (with Matt Morgan of TNA), Myself with Matt Morgan following the press conference, and the twitter photo before the conference began (from @thetboneeffect) are the only ones we have, and even they had to be cropped to eliminate the damaged part of the photo.
This press conference was a great experience. Brandon Baxter, of East Arkansas Broadcasters and former Pro-Wrestler, welcomed everyone to the press conference and talked up the TNA iMPACT Wrestling TV Taping in Jonesboro, AR. Those in attendance, aside from fans, were former PowerPro Wrestling (Former WWE Developmental) owner Randy Hales, Jonesboro Mayor Harold Perrin, and representatives from the ASU Convocation Center. Baxter would then turn the conference over to TNA Vice President of Marketing Michael Weber. Weber would also welcome the crowd and talk up the March 28th event. After discussing his business he would bring out IMPACT WRESTLING star Matt Morgan. Morgan, standing at a staggering seven feet, would present a replica of the TNA World Heavyweight Title to Mayor Harold Perrin, following his presentation of a Proclamation from the City of Jonesboro. The Conference drew to a close and was followed by a meet and greet with TNA Star Matt Morgan.
I am really excited to see how TNA will draw at The CONVO. This should be an exciting event for Jonesboro!
